The NCBE’s July 2025 Bar Exam Results show Utah achieved the top overall bar passage rate in the country at 86%.
As of April 1, 2026, average lawyer pay in Arizona spanned from $95,825 for entry-level attorneys (Attorney I), who deal with standard legal work, to $242,617 for veteran attorneys (Attorney V) handling especially complex matters independently. Attorneys in mid-level positions, such as Attorney III, who take on highly complex cases with some oversight, earned an average of $179,597 in Arizona versus $187,549 nationwide.
