The UMSL Tritons, featuring former Cottonwood High School standout Aliya Tripp, were defeated 60-49 by the Northwood Timberwolves on Saturday, March 14, in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The matchup began at 5 p.m. at GVSU Fieldhouse Arena and marked the Tritons’ first meeting with the Timberwolves in tournament play.
