Former Murray High School standout Ian Winterhalder contributed for the Sacramento State Hornets as they secured a 13-1 win over the Winthrop Eagles in their NCAA Division I baseball matchup Thursday, March 19, at 6 p.m.
The game, held at John Smith Field, marked the Hornets’ first meeting with the Eagles this season.
Winterhalder pitched one inning, conceding one earned run while issuing one walk and tallying one strikeout.
Sacramento State will face the Winthrop Eagles again on Friday, March 20, at 6 p.m. at John Smith Field.
