Layton City Liberty Days to be held July 4

Layton City Liberty Days

Join Layton City for the annual Layton City Liberty Days celebration. Bring the family and enjoy a full day of food, fun, entertainment, and fireworks. The day begins with breakfast in the park, 5K Fun Run, and Flag Raising Ceremony. The Liberty Days parade begins at 10:30am, followed by vendor booths, food booths, live entertainment, and games in Constitution Circle. Surf 'n Swim will be open at noon. Event activities continue throughout the afternoon; concluding with a free concert in the Ed Kenley Amphitheater followed immediately by the best fireworks display in the county!

Event Timeline

6:30am-10:00am Liberty Days Breakfast (Ed Kenley Amphitheater Plaza)

6:30am Fun Run/Walk and More Fun Less Run packet pick-up and day-of registration

7:15am WALK begins

7:30am RUN and MORE FUN LESS RUN begins

8:00am All-Star Baseball/Softball Games Begin (Ellison Park)

8:30am Flag Raising Ceremony (Ed Kenley Amphitheater)

10:30am PARADE BEGINS

12:00pm Surf ‘n Swim opens

12:00pm Activities Start at Layton Commons Park - Concessions, Vendor Booths, and Children's Activities Open

12:00-7:30pm Entertainment Stage Performances Begin

8:00pm FREE CONCERT (Ed Kenley Amphitheater) Gates open at 7:00pm

9:00pm Concessions, Vendor Booths, and Children's Activities Close

10:00pm FIREWORKS DISPLAY

Parade Seating

Parade seating is not allowed more than 48 hours before July 4. Any items placed on the lawn prior to July 2, may be removed.

When placing personal items and belongings on the lawn please be aware of the following:

• TARPS ARE NOT ALLOWED – Any tarps placed on the lawn will be removed, as they damage the grass.

• The sprinklers will run during the evenings. Belongings may get wet.

• Blankets, stakes/ropes, chairs, etc. on the lawn may be moved for park maintenance needs.

• Do not use stakes or anchoring systems longer than six inches.

• Layton City is not responsible for unattended items left in the park.

Personal Fireworks

Personal fireworks are NOT allowed in the park. (Personal fireworks NOT allowed may include, but are not limited to: sparklers, snap-pops, fountains, ground spinners, firecrackers, etc.)
