UMSL Tritons, led by Aliya Tripp, secure victory in NCAA Division II tournament opener

On Friday, March 13, the UMSL Tritons, featuring former Cottonwood High School standout Aliya Tripp, claimed a 70-59 victory over the Ferris State Bulldogs in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The matchup took place at GVSU Fieldhouse at 2:30 p.m. and marked the Tritons’ first tournament game against the Ferris State Bulldogs.

UMSL’s next match is scheduled for Saturday, March 14 at 5 p.m. at GVSU Fieldhouse Arena.
