City of Taylorsville recently issued the following announcement.

The fifth annual Golden Spoke Ride is set for Saturday. It celebrates bike month and more than 170 miles of safe and connected multi-use trails from Provo to Ogden.
The event, involving five rides, is free but organizers do ask participants to sign up.
The event is a non-competitive activity that features safe and connected multi-use trails, including the Provo River Parkway Trail, Murdock Canal Trail, Jordan River Trail, Legacy Trail, Denver and Rio Grande Western Rail Trail, Weber River Parkway Trail, West Haven River Parkway Trail and Ogden River Parkway Trail.
Two rides will start simultaneously and converge at the Jordan River Parkway in South Salt Lake. An End of Ride Event will be held at Tracy Aviary's Jordan River Nature Center. Find a map of the route here.
North Ride (50 miles)
Where: High Adventure Park (Ogden River Parkway) to Jordan River Parkway
Time: 8 a.m.
North Ride / Rest Stop (25 miles )
Where: Farmington Regional Park (178 S. 650 West, Farmington)

South Ride (50 miles)
Where: Riverside Park (Provo River Parkway) to Jordan River Parkway
Time: 8 a.m.
South Ride / Rest Stop (25 miles)
Where: Lehi Bull River Trailhead (1633 W. Innovation Way, Lehi)
Time: Free start
End of Ride Event:
Where: Tracy Aviary's Jordan River Nature Center
Time: Approximately 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Event will include food trucks, music, participant give aways, and vendor booths.\
