Native Flora Workshop and Planting Party with Conserve Southwest Utah and Southern Utah University Greenhouse Manager Angela Patina-Acevedo. Learn about desert-friendly native plant species and water conservation, take a tour of the beautiful Tonaquint Gardens, and make your own native “seed cookie” to brighten your home or yard. 1851 S. Dixie Drive.
This event is part of Latino Conservation Week (LCW), a nationwide celebration of Latino families and youth enjoying and preserving the outdoors. All activities are free, family-friendly and open to everyone. Anyone who wants to have a great time getting to know their neighbors while participating in fun outdoor activities is welcome to attend!
